Access Level Upgrade RequestsThe following table displays a list of pending and/or granted requests for an access level upgrade. If you would like to increase your involvement with the OpenComps community, you can request an upgrade of your access level from Normal to Modertor or from Moderator to Admin. Sign in to My Profile and use the link next to your status to request an upgrade. Admin will review your request and your contribution to the community and will either grant or deny your request. A Normal user can access ALL of the information and do everything with the database - query, add, edit, assign to custom comp sets and export to Excel. A Normal user can not delete transactions. A Normal user can only flag a transaction for deletion (i.e. recommend it) if the transaction is a duplicate, junk or badly inaccurate but the user doesn't know the correct information. Active and valuable Normal users can be upgraded to Moderators when approved by other Moderators and Admins. A Moderator, in addition to all the Normal access level priviliges, has a duty to maintain the data by reviewing transactions flagged by users for deletion, research them if they are inaccurate and update them as much as possible. Upon correction or confirmation of an inaccurate flagging, the Moderator can unflag a transaction. Or, if a transaction is confirmed duplicate, junk or badly inaccurate, a Moderator can remove the transaction. Active and valuable Moderators can be further upgraded to Admins, when approved by other Admins. An Admin can implement higher-level user management and database operations. An Admin can rollback series of additions or corrections from rogue users, perform bulk import, promote users to become Moderators or entirely disable bad users.
